一 .强化观念更新，创新英语教学
英语新课程标准对英语学科的发展提出了新的要求，这就要求我们要认真学习理论，更新教学观念和知识结构，提高自身的综合素质，才能符合时代潮流的发展要求。在教学中，我们要求每位教师努力做到创新课堂 教学设计 ，主要以学生的发展为本；创新教学方法，使教学活动由"教"向"学"转变，真正提高45分钟的课堂教学效率；创新教学手段，运用现代化教学技术和远程教育资源是创新外语教学的重要途径。
二、抓好教学业务工作 提高教师的专业素质
1．认真做好课前准备
备课是上好一节课的关键和前提。因此作为一名英语教师课前应做好充分的准备，认真熟悉和钻研教材，明确所教单元的重点、难点，针对不同的学生设计不同的教学情境，提出不同的学习要求。
2、抓好教研组活动这个主阵地，向45分钟要质量

一年来，我镇英语教研组在区教研中心和学校各级领导的关怀指导下，以新课程改革为契机，以新课程标准为教研导向，认真学习课改理念，加强校本教研，完善课堂教学，不断提升英语教师的教学水平，圆满完成了学期初制定的工作计划。以下是我组教研工作的简要回顾。
一、加强理论学习，提高教师理论素养。
从教师的不同需求出发，采取“参与式”“研讨式”等多种学习形式，提高了理论学习的效果。使教师转变了教学思想，接收、融合、运用新的教育理念为目标，着眼课堂教学，不同程度的提高了英语教师的专业水平。
二、抓好常规教学工作：
1、制定好学期计划，教研组要求教师对教学常规中的备课、作业批改、常规课、备课组活动等做了统一、具体的要求，发给每个教师，使大家的工作做到心中有数，有的放矢，确保本学期的工作顺利开展。
2、配合学校的教学常规工作大检查对教研组内的教学常规进行了一次细致认真的检查，并对发现的问题进行了个别提醒，并督促存在问题的老师进行了及时的整改。

新课程改革倡导要培养学生的综合能力。因此，我们利用课外活动时间开展儿歌、英语歌曲、小游戏、讲故事等一系列活动。激发和培养了学生兴趣、使他们乐学、想学、爱学英语，让学生感到：“it is fun,it is easy.”
四、教研组所有成员全力以赴协助选手参加区优质课评选活动并且组织成员去观摩听课，通过研讨交流使我们收获颇多。
五、教研组选派代表观摩济宁市小学优质课评选活动，听课代表返校后，向教研组做总结报告，上汇报课，使我们受益匪浅。
六、学期末，教研组统一对三年级学生进行英语口语测试，四、五年级学生进行口语和笔试测试，并且结合过程性评价，给予了每位学生一个综合的评价。
以上是我们在本学期教学中取得的一点成绩，但还存在一些不足，是我们下学期应努力做到的：
1、作业布置方面的缺失
作业布置单一，检查办法不到位，没有采取较为适当的奖罚制度，致使一部分学生经常不按时完成作业，一些开放性的口头作业实效不大。
2、学生两极分化严重
因为英语的特殊情况，学生在不断学习中，出现了好坏分化现象，学困生扩大，教师只注重优等生的学习，忽略了学困生的学习，没有及时辅导、检查，因此要求每位教师制定具体的计划和目标，对这部分学生进行有计划的辅导。

一、团结协作、乐于奉献
虽然英语教研组年轻教师较多，但却富于团结协作的精神。在教学中，我们经常相互听课，新老教师经常就如何上好课，如何备课写好教案，如何批阅试卷，如何组织好课堂教学等方面进行探讨和磋商。年轻教师进步很快，她们工作态度非常积极，在教学上虚心学习，刻苦钻研，很快在高中的英语课堂教学中崭露头角并获得其他老师的好评。他们上课条理性强、热情高，深受学生欢迎，已经成为我校高中英语教学的主力。这一切成绩的取得都说明我们组的教研是卓有成效的。

三、加强备课组建设，创建备课组特色
各备课组能不折不扣地完成教研组安排的任务，同时创建自己的特色。高一备课组认真钻研教材，逐步形成了本组的特色适合自己学生的就是最好的。高二备课组以激发学生学习兴趣，调动学生主动性为出发点，课堂英语氛围浓。而高三备课组着重阅读技巧的培养和解题思维的训练，两位老师经常上网寻找试题，高考备考工作落实到位。另外，组内老师基本会自己制作多媒体课件。
四、落实教学常规，提高课堂教学效率
