The Dragon Boat Festival is to commemorate Qu Yuan, the great poet of the state of Chu. It is said that on the 5th day of May, Qu Yuan threw himself into the Miluo River and killed himself. Qu Yuan's body was bitten by a dragon water beast. He kept rowing down the river and was rescued. However, the river was in a hurry and Qu Yuan was no longer there. People put rice balls into the river and tied colorful ropes, eggs and other food. If the dragon water animals ate anything, it would not hurt Qu Yuan. The habit of painting dragon boats and making zongzi gradually spread on the day of the Dragon Boat Festival.
The previous Dragon Boat Festival had no impression. This year's Dragon Boat Festival, my mother brought fragrant zongzi in the morning, one by one green. The shapes of zongzi include prismatic, quadrangular, zongzi, Babao zongzi, alkali zongzi, etc. It seems all right. Smelling the smell of zongzi, I want to salivate and peel the leaves of zongzi with zongzi. WOW! It contains meat, mushrooms, shrimp and other seasonings. It must taste good. I ate zongzi three or five times and then brought another one. Mother said zongzi was delicious, but she couldn't eat too much. If you eat too much, you can't digest well. Just eat two or three. But it tastes good. I don't think I have enough. Ha ha
Our family ate zongzi around and immersed in the festival atmosphere. Feel very warm!

Another year is the Dragon Boat Festival. I want to experience this atmosphere. Please tell me how to make zongzi.
To make zongzi, first clean the leaves of chopsticks and soak them in hot water. Prepare jujube, egg, meat and other fall, cook the fall you like, and you can start. First, fold the leaves of long chopsticks, surround them, make a nest, put the prepared glutinous rice and Japonica Rice in the middle, and wrap the edges and corners. Then put the depression in the rice, knead it with the leaves of chopsticks, and finally make the wrapped zongzi into a quadrangular shape.
In the process of cooking zongzi, I always impatiently take off the cover to see the situation. The smell of zongzi wafts from the pot and wants me to drool.
The waiting time is always very long. When I saw the steaming zongzi finally liberated from the pot, I was very happy to get the dance. Put it in a bowl and peel it off with chopsticks. You can see the golden and soft zongzi inside. Take a bite. It's delicious. Almost even chopsticks.
This year's Dragon Boat Festival, I learned to make zongzi and taste the fruits of my labor. It's not generally sweet.

On the day of the Dragon Boat Festival, my mother and I went to the vegetable market to buy tea and glutinous rice in the morning. The mother who came home put the water in the basin and the tea in it. She asked her mother boring why she put the tea into the water? Mother said: tea leaves will not dry and harden when immersed in water, so we can wrap them. Ah, I see. My mother washed the rice and soaked it in water. I immediately said to my mother: Mom, immersing the rice in water is the same as tea. Mother nodded and said: Yes.
Finally began to pack tea. Mother overlapped the two pieces of tea, surrounded the big head into a funnel, put it into the rice, wrapped the excess leaves along the funnel, and finally laid the rope in the middle of the three corners and tied it to the two corners. The tea was born.
I also learned the way my mother looks. My brown is really a funnel. Accidentally, the rice falls down one by one. My mother said that when rolled into the shape of the funnel, there should be no gap. It really becomes a funnel. When the rice is put in, it should be cooked in this way to make the rice strong. I wrapped it carefully and finally succeeded. I tied my brown bag with a rope. This is the fruit of my labor, and I must keep it in memory.

There are many theories about the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival, but the theory of commemorating Qu Yuan has the widest and deepest influence and occupies the mainstream position. In the field of folk culture, people associate the Dragon Boat Race and eating zongzi in the Dragon Boat Festival with the commemoration of Qu Yuan.
In my hometown, there are some customs every Dragon Boat Festival. For example, making zongzi, going out for an outing in the morning, etc. Every year on the day of the Dragon Boat Festival, my mother and I get up early and go out for an outing. We came to the park and saw many people coming for an outing. "Don't go to the king early, and there are more early pedestrians" ah!
Then, my mother and I will make zongzi together. It's hard to wrap zongzi. I first wash the glutinous rice, and then soak the dry Zongye with boiling water. Then, prepare a clean rope, and my mother cut the meat into small pieces, and then soak the diced meat in soy sauce There are so many things ready.
It took about twenty minutes to get ready. Let's start. We're going to make triangle meat dumplings. After wrapping it, we'll cook it in a pressure cooker for an hour. An hour passed and the zongzi was cooked. I took a bite and ate it well.
This is the Dragon Boat Festival in my hometown! Every year, the Dragon Boat Festival is very rich and everyone has a good time. How I look forward to the Dragon Boat Festival coming soon this year!

Today, we went to grandma's house for the Dragon Boat Festival. Before we got to the door, we smelled a pungent smell. It turned out that grandma was making fried cakes. I couldn't help but pick up one and put it in my mouth. Ah! It's delicious and crispy. My mother said that only in the annual Dragon Boat Festival can I eat this crisp and delicious cake.
After a while, I saw my grandmother bring some grass and insert it on the door. I asked my grandmother strangely, "what's this?"
My grandmother told me: "this is wormwood and Acorus calamus. Every household should insert it on the door during the Dragon Boat Festival, because their stems and leaves can produce strange fragrance, which can repel mosquitoes, flies, insects and ants, as well as evil spirits, that is, they can drive out bad things." I was surprised: it turned out that this grass has so many effects!
During lunch, I found that there were eel and yellow croaker on the table. My mother told me: "on the Dragon Boat Festival, we should eat five yellows: Eel, yellow croaker, cucumber, salted egg yolk and realgar wine. Sprinkling realgar wine indoors can disinfect and sterilize. Drinking it is also very beneficial to people's health."
Today, there are not only many delicious food, but also let me learn a lot of knowledge. I really enjoyed this Dragon Boat Festival!
There were zongzi and eggs for breakfast. We played egg fighting. As a result, my egg became the king of eggs. After dinner, my mother and father took me to Jiuxi. I asked why I went to Jiuxi so early? My mother told me to wash my face with the water in the stream on the Dragon Boat Festival, and my eyes would see more clearly, so I quickly ran to the stream and washed it. After washing, I opened my eyes and saw it more clearly. I could see even a thin spider silk clearly!
Then we climbed a mountain. We met two geckos and a toad. It seems that it is a season with many five poisons, but I am not afraid at all, because I take the silk thread to five poisons!
When I climb to the top of the mountain, I will be the top of the mountain and see the small mountains! There is a green tea garden in the distance. The first bridge of Qianjiang River is like a long dragon lying across the river. The mountains are full of round, large and colorful hydrangeas, including white, blue, purple and rose red... How beautiful!
On the way down the mountain, the hot sun has risen to the top of our heads, and the thick branches and leaves can't seem to cover the hot sun. It's time for us to go home, and the Dragon Boat Festival trip is over. I wear colorful silk thread, wash my face with stream water and climb up to pray for blessings. I hope our whole family will be healthy.

After we got to the designated position first, we were about to start making zongzi, but the team leader teacher just didn't appreciate it and asked us to see the demonstration first and then make zongzi. We had to go through the demonstration.
However, the demonstration was not long, but an aunt crossed the two Zongye and pulled up the long place, put some glutinous rice, streaky pork and egg yolk, and finally wrapped it with a rope. After reading it, the students said it was too simple!
We're going to start making zongzi. I first cross the zongzi leaves and then fold them to turn them into a "funnel". Then I put some glutinous rice, followed by streaky pork and egg yolk. However, I accidentally dropped some glutinous rice in this step. I'm anxious like an ant on a hot pot, but I still add some glutinous rice and peeled mung beans. Finally, I wrap the leaves tightly and tie them tightly with a rope, but they become small on the top, The big shape below is like a blessing bag. I looked at the "masterpiece" of my bag and laughed.
This year's Dragon Boat Festival, I went shopping with my grandmother early in the morning. There are many people in the vegetable market. Some people buy vegetables, some people buy fruits, and others buy meat. My grandmother bought some Zongye and some beef. Although beef is very expensive, I still want to eat it, so my grandmother bought me beef.
As soon as we got home, we began to make zongzi. We first wrap two zongzi leaves into a funnel shape, then put rice in it, and then tie it with rope. One zongzi is finished! Just boil it in water. We waited for a while. The zongzi was ready. We ate it!
In the evening, I ate my favorite beef and potatoes. It was delicious! After dinner, my mother gave me some Starbucks ice dumplings. Starbucks ice dumplings are very different from our dumplings, and there are many flavors. I think ice dumplings are more delicious.
The Dragon Boat Festival is a day for a family to be healthy and happy. Although I didn't go anywhere this Dragon Boat Festival, I'm still very happy.
On the day of the Dragon Boat Festival, early in the morning, my mother and I went to the supermarket to buy materials for wrapping zongzi. First, we went to the vegetable area to buy zongzi leaves, then to the dry goods area to buy jujube and longan, and finally to buy big meat and salted duck eggs. When I finally left, I saw someone buy wormwood and Acorus calamus, and we also bought two. My mother said it could ward off evil spirits.
After returning home, my mother and I made zongzi together. First, we took out the zongzi leaves, smashed the dates and longans, cut the meat into strips, and then wrapped the zongzi leaves into a bucket shape. My mother and I made zongzi, one by one, and finally boiled zongzi. I waited patiently. After 50 minutes, I smelled the fragrance of zongzi, and finally cooked the zongzi. I took out the zongzi one by one and wolfed them down, Soon a plate of zongzi was destroyed by me.
The Dragon Boat Festival is a precious Festival. We should cherish it. I hope our country can always be prosperous and strong and have a happy life every day.

The most obvious example is probably Christmas, which is celebrated around the world by people who aren’t even Christian. Similarly, in recent years, the Dragon Boat Festival has moved beyond China to become an international holiday celebrated by people who may know little about the holiday’s origins. The Dragon Boat Festival is one of three major Chinese holidays, along with the Spring and Moon Festivals. Of the three, it is possibly the oldest, dating back to the Warring States Period in 227 . The festival commemorates Qu Yuan, a minister in the service of the Chu Emperor. Despairing over corruption at court, Qu threw himself into a river. Townspeople jumped into their boats and tried in vain to save him. Then, hoping to distract hungry fish from his body, the people scattered rice on the water. Over the years, the story of Qu’s demise transformed into the traditions of racing dragon boats and eating zongzi – a kind of rice wrapped in bamboo leaves. The races have certainly captured the imagination of people from all over the world. Every spring there are nearly 60 dragon boat races held outside of China in cities from Vancouver to Sydney, from Gdańsk, Poland to Cape Town, South Africa. Canada alone has nearly 50 dragon boat teams and Germany has nearly 30. So what is it about the Dragon Boat Festival that appeals to foreigners? “It’s an unusual sport,” says one racer from Germany. “It’s not like everybody’s doing it. That’s one of the reasons that there’s such great team spirit in a dragon boat team – everybody feels like we’re doing something special.” And what about the zongzi? “Ehhh, they’re not bad, I guess,” he says. “Something of an acquired taste. I just haven’t really acquired it yet.” 8. At the beginning of May each year five China is the most traditional festival, the Dragon Boat festival. At the end of the Zhou Dynasty, the area we now know as China had fallen into a state of fragmentation and conflict. While the Zhou dynasty had ruled for several centuries, several other states, originally feudal domains, tried to carve out their own kingdoms. The state of Qin would eventually emerge the victor and unify all of China under one rule for the first time in history.
Qu Yuan served as minister to the Zhou Emperor. A wise and articulate man, he was loved by the common people. He did much to fight against the rampant corruption that plagued the court-- thereby earning the envy and fear of other officials. Therefore, when he urged the emperor to avoid conflict with the Qin Kingdom, the officials pressured the Emperor to have him removed from service. In exile, he traveled, taught and wrote for several years. Hearing that the Zhou had been defeated by the Qin, he fell into despair and threw himself into the Milou River. His last poem reads:
Many a heavy sigh I have in my despair,
Grieving that I was born in such an unlucky time.
I yoked a team of jade dragons to a phoenix chariot,
And waited for the wind to come,
to sour up on my journey
As he was so loved by the people, fishermen rushed out in long boats, beating drums to scare the fish away, and throwing zong zi into the water to feed braver fish so that they would not eat Qu Yuan's body.
The Modern Dragon Boat Festival started from that time to this day, people commemorated Qu Yuan through Dragon Boat Races, eating zong zi, and several other activities, on the anniversary of his death: the fifth day of the fifth lunar month.
Dragon Boat races are the most exciting part of the festival, drawing crowds of spectators. Dragon Boats are generally brightly painted and decorated canoes. Ranging anywhere from 40 to 100 feet in length, their heads are shaped like open-mouthed dragons, while the sterns end with a scaly

"End" is "at the beginning of" the meaning of "beginning", so the lunar may fifth day is called "dragon boat". In the tang dynasty, because of the tang dynasty emperor Tang Xuanyu's birthday is in August 5, in order to avoid "five" word, with the echo "noon" replaced the word "five", from then on, "terminal five" renamed "dragon-boat festival". Why falls on this day will be "Dragon Boat Festival"? The folk. One of the most popular, is to commemorate qu yuan. From then on, rowing, zongzi is our China customs. I really like the Dragon Boat Festival, I look forward to the arrival of the Dragon Boat Festival every year. A Chinese holiday is gaining worldwide popularity Some holidays are so much fun that they catch on outside of their culture. It is one of the most important Chinese festivals, the other two being the Autumn Moon Festival and Chinese New Year。 The origin of this summer festival centers around a scholarly government official named Chu Yuan. He was a good and respected man, but because of the misdeeds of jealous rivals he eventually fell into disfavor in the emperor's court。 Unable to regain the respect of the emperor, in his sorrow Chu Yuan threw himself into the Mi Low river. Because of their admiration for Chu Yuan, the local people living adjacent to the Mi Lo River rushed into their boats to search for him while throwing rice into the waters to appease the river dragons。 Although they were unable to find Chu Yuan, their efforts are still commemorated today during the Dragon Boat Festival。
