导语:要让英语课堂变成高效的课堂,必须关注全体学生,面向全体学生,因材施教,让学生拓展学习,运用所学英语进行情景交际,让每个学生都在课堂上乐学、善学并学有所获。
一、备课要认真,授课讲实效
“好的开始是成功的一半”,作为一名教师,要认真备课,设计好课堂环节,让课堂节奏适中,让学生学有所获。教师、学生、教材和教学方式的组合构成课堂,教师是主导,学生是主体,教材和教学方式是连接老师和学生的桥梁,这座桥一路走过来是普普通通还是一路异彩纷呈,让老师和学生都把走过这座桥梁当成是一种愉悦的体验,取决于老师对教材的处理和对教学方式的设计。教学前的准备工作分为:制定教学计划,并严格执行;准备的内容要充实, 能够激发学生学习英语的兴趣;加强与学生之间的沟通。教师首先是班级教学活动的管理者,这就要求教师有效地组织课堂教学的各个环节,包括学习情境的设计、教学活动的安排、学习任务的完成、学习目标的实现。小学英语课堂教学模式通常分为五个部分,即:热身warm-up,复习Review,新课展示Presentation,练习Practice,以及巩固和拓展Consolidation and extention。教师在备课时要注意这五个环节的安排,要通过优化课堂结构提高课堂效率。
二、利用简笔画,让课堂教学生动、形象
在新课程标准的理念下,教师的教学方式和学生的学习方式发生着巨大变化。新课程的课堂,学生被赋予了更多得自由和权利,大大释放了学生的个性和潜能,使学生的主观能动性和创造性得到了充分发挥,学生变得活泼敏捷和富有朝气。学生的学习积极性逐步提高,学习兴趣日渐浓厚,课堂气氛越来越活跃,学生的综合素质明显提高。
作为一名英语教师,不仅要会说流利的英语,还要把其他技能运用到自己的课堂实践中。例如:当教学单词grandfather以及家庭成员时,老师可以利用简笔画引出新单词,激发学生的学习兴趣。图文结合,既加深了学生对单词的印象,还可以让板书一目了然。除此之外,可以在课下制作精美的单词卡片,正面是图片,反面是单词,通过多种方式的读让学生加深记忆,在无形中提高了课堂效率。
三、把课堂教学和信息技术相结合,让教学生动、形象
基于信息技术的教学设计通过视听结合、声画并茂、动静皆宜的表现形式,生动、形象地展示教学内容,不仅能扩大学生视野,还能把思想性、知识性、趣味性结合起来,让教学变得生动。多媒体发挥了新异的刺激作用,对学生产生较强的吸引力,能有效地激起学生的求知欲。
它声画并茂、形象直观, 能将教材中的静态图形变为动态,从而帮助学生全面深入地了解事物本质;还可以根据教学的需要,创设语言教学情景,使枯燥乏味的知识点,变得生动形象,引导学生进入意境,将教学引向深入。学生是具有多元智能的个体,面对不同的信息输入,他们吸收点不同,信息技术提供多样化教学设计最终引起学生情感上的共鸣,吸引学生的注意力,激发他们的想象力、创造力、思维能力以及记忆力,用一种他们喜欢的形式,将学习变成一件快乐的事,不知不觉中将书本上的知识自然渗透进学生的大脑。知之者不如好之者,好之者不如乐之者,教师要做到激发学生学习动机,增强他们的学习积极性,变被动应付为主动探求知识,使之成为乐之者。
现在网络信息技术已经深入教学工作,学会利用网络信息进行教学设计,足不出户获取各种教学信息素材,是教师应有的基本素质,可以更改传统的教学模式,优化课堂教学过程,给枯燥的课本知识赋予生命,为英语教学提供广阔的空间,进而提高英语教学质量。
四、课后做好反馈、不断改进
作为一名教师,要终身乐学,在课后搜集课堂教学反馈信息,不断改进教学方法,调整教学策略,提高教学技能,这也是提高英语课堂有效性的重要步骤。课后老师可以制定有激励性的评价制度,可以检查学生的学习效果,鼓励他们树立学习英语的信心。教师的教学要转换角色,从“知识的神坛”上走下来,成为学生学习的伙伴,组建“学习共同体”,与学生平等地交流和探讨,允许并鼓励学生提出独特的见解、奇特的想法,激励善待学生,创设一种“心理自由和安全”。
总之,要让小学英语课堂变得高效,老师就要认真学习,钻研进取,结合多媒体技术,使用高效的教学方法,让学生在快乐中学习,在幸福中成长,在学习中体验快乐,在成长中收获幸福。作为小学英语教师,我们任重而道远,要为达到教学的最高境界而努力!
一、重视导课——激发学生学习英语兴趣
著名教育学家乌申斯基说:“没有任何兴趣,而被迫进行的学习,会扼杀学生掌握知识的意愿。”小学英语是入门教学,而课堂导入是整个英语课堂教学的一个重要环节。一堂好的英语课首先要注重最初的几分钟。教师可以组织英语歌曲联唱,用富于感染力的音乐激发情趣,让学生以饱满的愉快的情绪进入学习英语的状态。教师也可以将所学语言知识点直接展示给学生,促进学生系统知识的构建,为后续教学环节做铺垫。教师还可以先安排3~5分钟的口语复习时间,采取多种问答形式,在问答过程中,能使学生情绪紧张而兴奋,迅速地进入角色,沉浸在浓厚的英语氛围中,使学生身处教室便有种置身于英语文化之中的感觉,增添了学习英语的勇气。极大地激发了学生的好奇心与求知欲,从而激发学生们学习英语的热情。
二、重视活动——调动学生参与研究英语任务
新课程的教学理念是追求人的全面发展。教师应该让学生通过英语学习和语言实践活动,不仅逐步掌握英语知识和技能,培养和提高语言综合运用能力,而且拓展视野,汲取各方面的知识,发展良好的个性,提高人文素养和科学素养,为终身学习和发展打下良好的基础。所以英语教学活动要有明确的'指向性。教师要坚持面向全体学生,始终体现以学生为主体,尊重学生的个体差异,注重个性化教学。教学活动要与教材提供的文本内容密切相关,教师应根据教学目标和学生的特点选择教材和教具,设计好教学活动。教学活动要与学生的生活背景和经验相联系,要求学生用所学语言知识表达个人喜好,与同学交流。设计高效的课堂教学活动,不仅要充分体现“以学生为中心”的教学思想,最大限度地发挥学生的主体性,让学生乐于学英语,善于学英语,真正成为学习英语的小主人;而且还要使教学活动能真正代表学生,激发学生的学习兴趣,并让学生形成持久的学习动机,在完成任务的过程中体验学习成功的愉悦,从而营造出一个人性化的教学环境,有利于调动孩子的学习积极性,提高英语教学效果。
三、重视巩固——强化学生英语知识结构
巩固是小学英语课堂教学的重要环节之一,同时也是对学习有一定时间的孩子加强记忆的一种训练。教师可以设计相应的英语练习题,进行巩固性的训练;也可以采用游戏的方式来巩固练习,这就是利用孩子好嬉戏的天性,创设出儿童喜闻乐见的游戏活动,使其在玩玩乐乐之中巩固所学的知识,有利于调动儿童的非智力因素,增强参与意识,较好地发挥儿童的主体作用。作为教师,要学会创造性地设计贴近学生实际的教学活动进行巩固,使学生获取处理和使用信息、用英语与他人交流、用英语解决实际问题的能力。只有接近学生生活的、真实的、复杂的活动,才能整合多重的内容和技能。这将有助于学生用真实的方式来应用所学的知识,同时也有助于学生认识他们所学知识的作用和意义。
四、重视评价——以英语语言交际为目的
课堂教学离不开评价,教学评价是课堂教学的一个内在的重要组成部分。英语课堂教学评价直接作用于课堂教学活动的各个方面,包括教学目的、任务以及教学过程、环节和方法。科学的评价体系是实现课程目标的重要保障。学生是学习的主体,所以评价应以学生综合语言运用能力发展为出发点。评价应有益于学生认识自我和树立信心,评价应有助于学生反思和调控学习过程。评价体系要体现多元化和多样性,应关注学生综合语言运用能力的发展过程以及学习的效果。形成性评价有利于让学生变被动性接受评价为主动性参与评价,并积极成为评价的主体。终结性评价要注重考查学生综合语言运用能力。评价的目的是检测,要采用形成性评价去激励学生学习。评价是要让学生知道自己能做什么,从而产生信心。评价是为了发展,要考虑如何促进学生的发展。
高效英语课堂是一种教学方式,在这种英语教学方式下能够在短时间内获得较好的学习效果,这种教学方式随着课程改革的深化而不断发展。因此,摆在英语教师面前的现实,就是在有限的时间内如何提高学生的英语综合能力,这就需要教师了解并创建高效的英语课堂。“教是为了不教”,面对21世纪对人才的需求,“授人以渔”已成为师者的最高教育境界。以上几点仅仅是我个人常用于教学中提高课堂效率的几种方法,我知道还有更多的提高课堂效率的途径有待去学习和探索。
