Want it lose weight?Come inside Yong Hui`s slimming slimming foods served yoursely thin again!Curiosity drove Wang Peng inside. It was full of people. The hostess, a vary thin lady, came forward. “Welcome,”she said. “My name is Yong Hui. I`ll helpyou lose weight and be fit in tow weeks if you eat here every day.” Then she gave a menu to Wang Peng. There were few choices of food and drink on it: just rice, raw vegetables served in vinegar, fruit and water. Wang Peng was amazde at this and especially at the prices. It cose more than a good meal in his restaueant! He could not believe his eyes. He threw down the menu and hurride outside. On his way home he thought about his own menu. Did it make people fat? Perhaps he should go to the library and find out. He could not have Yong Hui getting away with telling people lise1 he had better do some research!At the library Wang peng was surprised to find that his restaurand seved far too much fat and Yong Hui`s far too little. Even though her customers might ger thin after eating Yony Hui`s food, they were not eating enough energy-giving foot to keep them fit. They would become tired very puickly. Wang Peng felt more hopeful as drove back home. Perhaps with a discount and a new sign he could win his customers back. So he wrote:Want to feel fit and energetic?Come and eat here! Discounts today!Our food gives you energy all day!The competition between the tow restaurants was om!

8. promise

promise是动词,意为“允诺,答应”。其用法归纳如下:

(1) 后接名词或代词作宾语,常可以带间接宾语,即构成promise sb. sth. 例如:

He promised me the book. 他答应给我这本书。

(2) promise to do sth. 意为“承诺/答应做某事”。例如:

He promised to help us. 他答应要帮助我们。

(3) promise sb. (not) to do sth. 意为“承诺/答应某人(不)做某事”。例如:

(4) promise + that从句,意为“承诺……”。例如:

so...that意思是“如此……以至于……”,中间用形容词或者副词,so修饰词形容词或副词,形容词后一般没有名词,that的后面是表示结果的状语从句。而同义短语such...that的中间有名词,such修饰此名词。

几轮对话之后,教师在黑板上写出两句被动语态的句子,让学生自由讨论他们在家可以做的事情,然后列出清单。

2.布置任务,激励学生学会联系实际去运用被动语态。

任务1.收集个人资料。

任务2.将每一种情况都用被动语态表达出来。

任务3.集中各种家庭规则,讨论哪些是好的,哪些是不好的。

任务4.展开讨论。针对校规的一些内容,用“Teenagers should be allowed to do...because...“or ” Teenagers should not be allowed to do...because...”句型来阐述自己的观点。

学生在收集时对自己感兴趣的都能记下来,不过有些学生在表达时对被动语态的灵活运用有待提高,如有些学生说“ My parents should be allowed me to play computer.”以及类似的句子。通过小组合作,有学生发现这个问题,有的能纠正,有的就举手问老师,所以我在他们的训练中反复强调主语在被动句中的位置,引导他们自己纠正错误,认识到主动句中的主语和谓语动词的关系。最后很多学生收集到下面一些句子。

I am allowed to watch TV for half an hour every night.

I am allowed to go shopping with friends once a week.

I am not allowed to play computer games every night.

教师将以上句子展示出来,要求他们根据这些句子内容,谈谈自己的观点,用Teenagers should be allowed to do sth.句型来表达。

3.操练。

学生通过家里的实际情况互相沟通,并且让学生在训练中熟练掌握基本的被动语态和带有情态动词的被动语态。

4.拓展。

针对实际情况进行比较,开展讨论。学生在讨论中反复运用被动语态的句型,然后结合实际不断产出新的句子。在校规的好与不好的比较中,很多学生能表达自己的观点,并且很多学生在小组中就校规的几点规定展开讨论,比如说 “Students should be allowed to wear their own clothes at school.”有很多同学就不赞成,他们认为“Students shouldn’t be allowed to wear their own clothes.They should wear uniforms at school.”他们在争论时结合以前的一些知识来解释原因,各抒己见,但是在说英语时,虽然有一些学生太激动了说中文,但大部分学生能坚持用英语交流,使被动语态的句型得到充分的练习,并且能对现实提出自己的见解。

5.辩论。

为了使学生能创造性地使用语言,让学生在说中学,灵活运用所掌握的句型拓展内容,在课堂的结尾,我设计一个辩论赛,辩题是:“Students should be allowed to bring mobile phone to school.”让学生分成两大组,每大组再分几个小组。先小组讨论,然后将大家的观点综合起来,由大组中的小组分别发言,然后就对方的观点进行反驳 。通过辩论拓展学生的思维,培养学生的语言运用能力。最后由教师总结性发言。

6.课外巩固练习。

让学生用所学句型写出他们最希望得到允许去做的5件事情。
