"When I left college, I wanted to go into hotel and catering work so I took up a position as areceptionist to learn some front of house skills.
Working for a chain of hotels opened up opportunities and I was accepted as a junior manager after 2 years and was promoted to Front of House Manager after another year. I then moved to a more prestigious hotel within the group as Assistant Manager reporting to the General Manager and was there for 2 years gaining really good experience in budgeting and financial management, planning, organising and directing all hotel services, including front-of-house: reception, concierge, reservations, food and beverage operations and housekeeping.
I held full responsibility for staff management and motivation, food control and sales, wine andliquor stocks, including the planning and coordinating of menus, being very experienced and capable of advising customers on menu and wine choice. I am also acknowledged as being very good at meeting and greeting customers and organising table reservations.
After another 2 years I accepted a position as Deputy Manager of a privately owned, 400 year old converted Yorkshire farmhouse set in 80 acres on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds specialising in the highest levels of customer care and personal service with 14 guest bedrooms, 3 self catering cottages, conference and event facilities for up to 85 guests and a Farmhouse Restaurant & Bar for up to 55 guests.
I have been fully accountable for the business performance of restaurants which involved analysing and planning restaurant sales levels and maintaining profitability and preparing regular reports for management. I have organised rotas for all departments i.e. Housekeeping, Reception Weddings and Events and the Restaurant which covers breakfasts, lunches, conferences and dinners. I have also instigated and implemented a direct marketing strategy to increase sales leading to significant improvements in the Restaurant business; I maximised sales revenues through up-selling and planning of marketing programmes.
So, when I saw your advert for the General Manager's position I was really excited as I had just started to think about looking for a similar role and I am confident of having the Hotel and Catering management skills and experience that you require. As I mentioned, I am extensively experienced in the trade, which includes front of house, restaurants, bar and functions management. With my excellent organizational ability and interpersonal skills I run operations efficiently and profitably, and provide the highest levels of customer service, in fact I was 2010 winner in the Real Welcome category of the Welcome to Yorkshire Tourism Awards."

工作计划是行政活动中使用范围很广的重要公文,也是应用写作的一个重头戏。机关、团体、企事业单位的各级机构,对一定时期的工作预先作出安排和打算时,都要制定工作计划,用到“工作计划”这种公文。以下是我整理的酒店人事年度工作计划,希望大家做事有目标,能够按照工作计划来进行。 酒店人事年度工作计划1 过去一年的工作,随着对公司状况的深入了解和自身的成长,我对人力资源部XX年的工作做了如下规划: 一、制度建设方面 力争在3月前完成各部门任职资格体系的编制,包括:职位说明(岗位责任制)、任职要求。任职资格体系是人力资源部门进行招聘、考核及定薪的基础资料,非常关键。这个体系不能照搬其他企业的,一定要与各部门负责人进行沟通,制定出符合公司实际情况的任职资格体系,并能够持续沿用。 二、招聘方面 在年初制定公司定员、定编,并对现在人浮于事的部门人员进行清理,减员增效,这项工作完成后,人事部要严格按照编制和该部门的薪酬预算对各部门进行控制。同时,利用好各项招聘渠道,保障公司对人才的需求。 三、培训方面 1) 因要配合绩效管理的开展,拟在XX年1月或2月对公司的主管级以上员工进行相关知识的培训。总结XX年考核工作开展的不好的原因,公司绝大部门管理人员对绩效管理不理解、不懂,没有他们的配合,做考核也是空谈。目前已在着手整理教案,会在年前上报林总。 2) 年前针对中层,做一个年度培训意愿调查,根据各管理人员的需要及公司的实际情况,安排好参加聚成培训的人员,并在培训前明确参训人员的培训目的,人事部注意考察培训内容的应用程度,将培训有效地和考核结合起来,使培训真正达到效果,由点扩散到面。 3) 公司培训师参与培训课后,必须在3天内拿出培训教案和计划,不同的课程对不同的人员进行公司内训,保证公司综合水平的提高,人事部负责对培训反馈意见进行调查并如实反馈。 4) 可在XX年组织公司中层参加一些户外拓展训练,通过户外的活动,锻炼并强化中层的团队意识。 5) 在公司派员参加培训的同时,可以进行员工的梯队建设,在该部门经理外出参加培训时,设一名助理代理日常事务处理,既能锻炼该员工的能力,也能提高该员工的积极性,为公司的发展逐步储备人才。 四、考核方面 考核与公司经营目标挂钩,从总经理一级向下逐级延伸,副总经理及以上一级签定季度目标责任书,主管及以上一级签定月度目标责任书,内容涵盖经营指标、费用指标、阶段性任务指标等,根据各部门实际情况一一签订。考核期结束后,由财务提供数据,人事部落实考核情况,做到过程控制,及时将考核情况反馈给公司高层,并辅导各部门进行绩效面谈、找出问题,帮助部门实现沟通,以利于下一步工作的开展,并明确下一步的工作目标,进而促进公司整体目标的完成。 五、薪酬方面 拟在XX年推行职能工资制,用薪酬体系作为调节员工工作积极性,增强公司凝聚力的手段,具体薪酬设计方案还有待完善,现不详尽表述,但会按照公司的预算严格进行过程控制,并对每月薪酬总额做出科学的分析,做到事前、事中的管理。 酒店人事年度工作计划2 为确保我酒店可持续性发展,做好人力资源的服务及日常管理工作,除继续完善现有工作的基础上,现将我部20xx年的重点工作计划如下: 一、在保证服务品质的前提下严格控制人事费用 一般情况下,酒店人事费用约占经营收入的23%,占整体费用约50%。人事费用是除了能源费用之外的一项重要开支。而且近年来,由于整个行业的“用工荒”,使人员工资成本形成了逐年上升的趋势。由此,我部将继续秉承精简高效的用人宗旨,进一步核算岗位定编人数,按淡、旺季合理调整用工人数及方式,严格把控录用时间、加班及日常考勤核查,及时掌握固定人力与弹性人力的预算变数,对人力预算也会做出相应的调整。 目前已完成20xx年的人员编制,我部将根据酒店实际情况和运营状况合理的调整人员编制,使人力成本和酒店收益更加合理;进一步调整现有的工资架构,使之能够更多的提高员工工作积极性和工作效率。 此外,在遵守国家政策的同时,兼顾企业和员工意愿,适时适度地调整员工社会保险缴纳办法。2012年和2011年相比,酒店参保人数已减少百人之多,一方面为企业节省了大量的资金,但也给部门做社保年审时带来了一定的困绕。但我们力争以最小的代价换取企业更多的利益。 二、人员招聘 1、根据20xx年人员编制和酒店经营状况,合理保持酒店人员数量,严格把关,招聘到高素质和稳定的员工。 2、保持和巩固现有招聘渠道的同时,进一步开拓其他招聘渠道,及时保证部门用人。 3、积极联系各大学和学院,在酒店旺季到来之前为一线部门招聘实习生,保证旺季服务人员充足,同时补充素质较高员工,逐步提升酒店员工的整体素质。目前已和西安外事学院联系建立“校企合作”的用工实习模式。 4、开拓更加灵活高效的用工形式,采取除正式工外,尝试聘用实习生、周末帮工、临时帮工等多种形式在旺季时缓解酒店人员压力的同时降低费用。 5、与周边社区、街办和劳动局就业中心等政府部门进一步建立用工信息渠道,为酒店提供稳定的人力资源;同时与各大人才市场和人才网站保持信息渠道的'畅通,适时参加招聘会补充人员。 6、重视酒店内部招聘的方式,使酒店人员进行内部的合理流动,给员工更多提高自身能力的机会,促成人才的良性循环。 三、员工福利待遇 企业发展壮大的同时,也要让员工共享劳动成果。为进一步体现“让员工有尊严地工作”,提升各项福利待遇已成为员工最关心、企业最重视的主导方向。 1、通过对现行工资架构的调整,使酒店在保证员工最大利益和合理收入的同时增强工资福利对工作积极性和工作效率的影响力度。 2、计划在20xx年工资福利中增长员工店龄工资标准,增加生日及劳保的标准。此外,将视同行业来年的工资调查水平及个别岗位的用工情况调整员工的工资待遇。使我酒店工资水平与同星级和周边酒店具有同等的竞争优势。 3、希望通过以上对员工福利的丰富和提高,建立具有五星级标准的福利待遇,吸引到较高素质的员工加入,从而提升我酒店的竞争力和企业形象。 四、精细管理、质检工作更加专业、细致 继承“品质升级年”的经营理念,深入实行精细化管理模式,不断推敲管理的措施和方法。从最基础的员工仪容仪表抓起,严格按照行业规范进行管理,树立天朗人作为五星级的职业形象。在以往成功经验的基础上,对已有制度专项、逐一进行梳理,重新建立并完善各项管理制度,制定各岗位人员的考核体系,严格按照新的制度进行管理,真正做到管理的细致化、严格化和专业化。同时,严格控制我部各项花费,重点是在员工餐厅的成本控制上,在花色品种上下功夫,在保证员工伙食的基础上,努力控制好各项费用支出。例如:做好和采购部的日常配合,员餐日常开销较大的食用油,拟计划从麦德友进货,做到质同价更优。再如,员工劳保之一的卫生纸,也准备换用质优价廉的替代品。 五、着力提升管理人员综合素质 目前酒店的员工培训大都集中在基层员工的培训上,但作为管理阶级中重要的一部分,中层管理人员却少于培训。因此,秉承“请进来,走出去”的模式,不定期安排企业中层管理人员的内训、外聘专业人事前来进行讲授,或者安排骨干中层管理人员赴其他先进酒店观模学习也将是未来三年的计划之一。 六、培训工作 1、新员工入职培训 培训内容:酒店产品知识、酒店仪容仪表规定、人事政策与程序、安全消防知识、旅游知识、服务意识 2、酒店英语培训 培训时间:全年按周进行 培训对象:在职员工 培训者:人力资源部 培训内容:酒店专业英语 分部门专业英语培训主题: 前厅部:酒店礼貌英语、前厅服务相关词汇、接待用英语、预定用英语、收银用英语、商务用英语、旅游用英语、 客房部:酒店礼貌英语、客房服务相关词汇、楼层服务用英语、房务中心用英语、旅游英语 中餐:酒店礼貌英语、中餐服务相关词汇、中餐菜单、侍餐服务英语、旅游英语 西餐:酒店礼貌英语、西餐服务相关词汇、西餐菜单、侍餐服务英语、旅游英语 销售:酒店礼貌英语、销售用英语 安全:酒店礼貌英语 3、公共课程培训 1)员工级公共课程: 培训时间:全年按月分批次进行 培训对象:在职员工 培训者:人力资源部、安全部、外请(免费讲座培训) 培训内容:酒店仪容仪表规定、行为规范、礼貌礼节、服务意识、服务细节、卫生知识、沟通技巧、员工素质、员工工作态度、工作安全、节能意识、快乐工作信念、服务的价值、认识客人的类型特点、电话礼仪、表达技巧、服务态度与技巧、处理宾客投诉的要点及原则、酒店优质服务、服务理念、酒店意识、团队意识、员工忠诚度、西安旅游知识、;文员办公自动化培训及考勤培训;团队意识拓展训练;岗位交叉培训;安全消防知识培训、消防演习;化妆技巧、健康知识、急救知识培训 2)督导层公共课程: 培训时间:全年按季分批次进行 培训对象:在职督导层员工 培训者:人力资源部 培训内容:督导人员素质训练:督导人员训练、领导艺术、创造力培养、激励培训、领班训练、主管训练、领导方式、领导职能、如何管理员工、时间管理培训、性格与沟通、赢在执行、自信讲话训练、讲师素讲师素质培训、讲师技能培训。

继续进行纸叠船创设情景,师说:Who can help me? Pass me the knife ,please。板书新单词pass 、knife。Give me two apples。 板书新单词give、scissors。然后板书,进行操练,通过CAI 教学展示Let‘s practise中的六幅图,让学生造句,加深学生对这两个祈使句的印象。
2)第二步让学生叠纸船。通过学生用纸叠船创设情景引出句子:Can I help you? Can it go on the water?看到学生有叠完船的,老师引出:Wait a minute 。After class。We‘ll go to the lake and try it on the water。I‘ll show you 。通过学生用纸叠船创设情景这样做也激发了学生的学习兴趣,使学生对本科教学任务有清晰地感知,并产生丰富的想象,带着浓厚的兴趣参与本课的教学中。
