As you know, there's no enough clean water for people. So many of them lose their lives because of water. In a lot of countries, people have to cut trees for living. So there's nothing to keep water from running away. Also we have polluted the land, the river and the air. So we have to face more and more floods and droughts . It's time that we must do something useful to protect our environment. We can plant trees and take good care of them. We can save the water and ask our parents to do so. We can't throw any litter onto the ground and we should collect them for recycling. If we take good care of our earth today,it will be more beautiful tomorrow.

Some people did some research on the origin of China’s chopsticks compared to the knife and fork in the West. One theory is that China was an agricultural society and relied on vegetables for food. Chopsticks were very convenient tools for eating. The Westerners, on the other hand, were nomads and lived on meat. The knife and fork were more practical. Others believe that China did not have much industry, and therefore people used chopsticks. The West was an industrial society, so their eating utensils were made of metal.

Sometime in the past, people began cooking their food in large pots. The food was chopped up into bits so that it would cook faster. Rather than reaching their fingers into the pots (and thus burning them), folks began to fish for their food with sticks or twigs. It became easier to get the food using a pair of sticks, hence the chopstick was born! Another influence in chopstick history was Confucius (551 to 479 B.C.). He was a vegetarian that held that knives did not belong at the dinner table, as they were for use at a slaughterhouse. Confucius taught that if a moral person heard the screaming of animals at the slaughterhouse, that person would prefer to keep the animal alive and unharmed. Confucius promoted peace and non violence, including the humane treatment of animals. So he was not big on knives but did like chopsticks :-) In the middle ages (around the 5th century) chopstick use migrated from China to Vietnam, Korea and Japan. The Japanese started out using chopsticks in religious occasions and ceremonies, then progressed to using them for common eating.

难道是“public chopsticks”吗?A waitress packages leftovers for customers at a restaurant in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, Aug 16, 2020. In order to stop the spread of the virus, we'd better use serving chopsticks. Could you give me a pair of disposable chopsticks? The one-time actor is a famous movie director now. Please be punctual. However, ten pairs of chopsticks possess strength, which is indestructibleunder any circumstance. All Chinese people draw on this unity and spirit, with which they boastperseveranceand power.

Chopsticks are very simple tool, and can be seen everywhere, and that is its simplicity. According to Chinese philosophical book “Yi Jing” the core essence of a being does not change irrespective of the external change. Same with Chopsticks, they can be made out of bamboo, wood, plastic, metal, silver or even gold, however the essence, that its two straight sticks working in tandem, remains the same. This philosophy applies to every aspect of our life too.

The use of chopsticks and spoons is not affectation, but for the sake of civilization and hygiene. This can not only protect themselves, but also protect others, which embodies a social responsibility. Let's work together to advocate new eating habits and healthy habits! Even if the epidemic is over, good eating habits will benefit us for life!

Recently, because novel coronavirus has been raging, schools have begun to advocate the use of "chopsticks and public spoon" meals. This decision is timely and of great social significance and role.

As we all know, we now use our own chopsticks to pick up vegetables, whether it's a family meal or a group of friends or families. We don't think it's bad.

However, the outbreak of this epidemic has made us understand the importance of civilized dining. For the sake of our own health and safety and the health and safety of others, I think it is time to enter our lives to eat with "public chopsticks and spoons"!

Let's start from me, from the use of "public chopsticks and spoons", to "civilization" and "health" to the dining table!
